Who am I?

I'm a Software Engineer with experience building, supporting, and troubleshooting web applications and cloud-based systems. My background includes engineering and technical support roles at Microsoft and FirstClose, where I worked with Azure services, production environments, APIs, authentication systems, and SQL-based applications.

My technical experience spans React, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Azure, Docker, and modern web development practices. In addition to professional experience, I actively build and deploy full-stack applications, maintain a HomeLab environment, and continue expanding my skills through hands-on projects and software engineering externships.

I enjoy solving complex technical problems, improving user experiences, and building reliable software that delivers real business value.

My Shop

I built My Shop to strengthen my understanding of full-stack application development using ASP.NET Core and SQL Server. My goal was to create an application that handled common e-commerce workflows such as authentication, product management, and shopping cart functionality.

I focused on database design, backend architecture, and creating a responsive user experience. In the future, I would like to expand the project with payment processing, order tracking, and administrative reporting features.

What To Wear?

I built What To Wear to gain experience developing a modern React application that consumes external APIs and presents real-time information to users. The project focuses on helping users decide what clothing to wear based on current weather conditions.

I concentrated on frontend component architecture, API integration, responsive design, and user authentication. Future improvements could include personalized recommendations, location-based forecasts, and enhanced user profile features.

Make A Shark!

I built Make A Shark as part of an aquarium kiosk project designed to provide visitors with an interactive experience. The application allows users to create and customize a shark through a guided workflow while tracking engagement statistics.

My focus was on React, TypeScript, responsive kiosk design, and creating an intuitive user experience for both desktop and touchscreen environments. In the future, I would like to add additional customization options, persistent user creations, and enhanced analytics.

Eventrian (WIP)

Eventrian is in progress — the live link opens the API today. I began building Eventrian to explore Clean Architecture principles and modern backend development practices using ASP.NET Core. The project is intended to provide a scalable foundation for managing events, attendees, and related business workflows.

My focus has been on designing a maintainable API structure, separating responsibilities across application layers, and creating a foundation that can support future growth. The next phase of development will include a React frontend, authentication, and additional event management capabilities.
